The shoes I walk in, have seen miles of desert, waded through mud and mire, been drown in waves and even crouched in frighteningly dark places. These shoes have born me through the wilderness and the drought, been soaked in a thousand tears and encounter all manner of hopeless places. They have run from pain and jumped the enemy’s hurdles. And they have come through it all, in victorious peace.
Would that the shoes I walk in… become the benefit of someone else. Would that when it is time to take them off… I pass them on to someone, with the the intregrity to invite peace and ability to protect their feet from the pain I have worn them through. And would that they be passed on and on, and by God’s grace, never wear out always fitting the next wearer.
